Diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, Marilli drifts through a small apartment haunted by anonymous phantoms: faces without names, voices without language. The film follows a single day as gestures and objects quietly repeat through internal montage and stop motion. Hand-processed 16mm and print film dissolve the fragile present into the dreamlike terrain of Marilli's childhood memories.
The film extends into projection itself. As a cross-processed 16mm work, it can be exhibited on both 16mm and Super 8 projectors.
